Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your account: email address and a hashed password (we never see the password itself), and when you agreed to these terms.
• Your profile: the details read from your resume and the ones you add, such as name, phone, location, links, work history, education, work authorisation, notice period, salary expectation and any optional demographic answers you choose to give.
• Your resume PDF and its text.
• Your search preferences and the answers you save for application questions.
• The jobs we matched for you, each application, what we typed into the form, and a screenshot of the filled form as proof.

Who we send it to, and why

• Employers, through Greenhouse and Ashby. When an application goes out, your answers and resume are submitted to that company's application form. From then on the employer and their hiring software handle your data under their own privacy policies.
• Google Gemini reads your resume to fill in your profile, and writes draft answers to open questions from your profile and resume. We use Gemini's free tier. Under Google's free-tier terms, Google may use what we send to improve its products, and people at Google may review it. If you do not want that, please do not upload a resume during the beta.
• TypeSafe (Jev) receives your profile, an excerpt of your resume and the job posting to score how well a role fits you, pick answers to multiple-choice questions and double-check answers before submitting.
• Exa receives search phrases built from the roles and cities you want, such as "Product Manager job in London", to find more company career boards. It does not receive your name or contact details.
• Hosting. The website runs on Vercel, the database (including your resume and screenshots) is on Neon, and Upstash stores small status signals for the applying process, with no personal data.

How applying works

Applications are filled in by a Chrome browser that we run. Each user gets their own separate browser profile, so cookies that career sites set while applying for you are never shared with another user. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Your controls

• Review mode: choose "I'll pick each one" on your Profile page and nothing is sent until you press Apply.
• Edit or remove any detail or saved answer on your Profile page at any time.
• Delete your account from the bottom of your Profile page. This permanently removes your profile, resume, answers, matches, applications and screenshots from our database. Applications already sent to employers stay with them.
