JobCopilot alternatives you can test before paying

21 October 2026 · Plumly team

Good JobCopilot alternatives include Plumly, Tsenta, Wobo, ApplyPass and LoopCV, which all have a free plan or free applications. Simplify is the option if you want to submit each application yourself. The best fit depends on how you want to test the tool, and how many applications you plan to send.

We make Plumly, one of the options below. We checked every competitor fact on the competitor's own pages on 18 October 2026.

What JobCopilot does well

JobCopilot has a clear idea. It says it "exclusively applies to verified jobs on official company career pages". That avoids many fake listings on open job boards. It says it covers "500,000+ companies worldwide".

Pricing is simple to read. Premium starts at $0.93 a day, with 1 copilot and up to 20 job matches a day. Elite costs $1.05 a day, with 3 copilots, up to 50 matches and resume tailoring for each application. Both plans let you save applications for review. Weekly, monthly and quarterly plans are available.

Some users are happy with it. One five-star reviewer on Trustpilot says "within 15 minutes it had applied to 20 jobs".

Why people look for alternatives

JobCopilot has a TrustScore of 2.0 from 99 reviews on Trustpilot, with 56% of reviews at one star. Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews, so read the points below as reports. JobCopilot replies to most negative reviews.

No way to try it first

JobCopilot's replies on Trustpilot state that no free trial exists. You pay before you see your first batch. That is the gap this page focuses on.

Cancellation

Several reviewers say cancelling was difficult. One says the "Cancel Subscription" button "only shows a loading animation".

Off-target or closed jobs

Some reviewers say matches missed their field. One says "roughly half of the recommendations were sales positions". Another says "The jobs were all closed."

Content the user did not write

A few reviewers say the tool added false details. One says it "generated false information on my résumé". Another says "It faked languages."

The alternatives in detail

Plumly

Plumly applies on the employer's own form on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workable, Teamtailor, Rippling, BreezyHR, Workday, Personio and Homerun. For other systems, it links you to the employer's page. It never invents facts about you. When it is not sure of an answer, it asks you. You can cancel any time, and you pay only for submitted applications.

If per-job resume tailoring or hiring-manager contacts matter most to you, JobCopilot Elite lists both, and Plumly does not claim them.

Tsenta

Tsenta is the closest match to JobCopilot's career-page approach, at higher volume. It watches "50,000+ career pages" and names Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. Starter is $19 a month for 600 applications, Pro $39 for 1,500 and Power $99 for 4,500. It says you can stop billing "in one click". Resume changes are shown to you for approval.

Wobo

Wobo's free plan applies to 5 jobs a day, which is a slow, low-risk test. Unlimited costs $34.99 a month, and you choose each job. Autopilot costs $44.99 a month, and Wobo chooses. Autopilot has a 5-day free trial. The pricing page does not say whether the trial needs a card.

ApplyPass

ApplyPass is aimed at software engineers. The free plan gives up to 7 applications a week on listings up to 7 days old. Momentum is $99 a month for 100 a week. Premium is $199 a month for 400 a week, with visa requirement matching. It costs more than JobCopilot, but paid plans reach newer listings.

LoopCV

LoopCV takes a different route. It scans "30+ job boards daily" rather than only company career pages. It has a free plan with no card, and paid plans start at €9.99 a month. Its pricing page does not list exact limits for each tier.

Simplify

Simplify Copilot is a browser extension that "autofills job applications on 100,000+ company career sites in one click". The free extension does not choose jobs or apply on its own. You open each posting, check the form and press submit. If JobCopilot's mistakes worried you, this keeps every decision with you. Simplify's paid plan adds Autopilot, which submits without a review step.

How to run a fair test week

Use the free tier of two tools for the same week. Then compare them on four things.

  1. Relevance. Count how many matched jobs you would have applied to yourself.
  2. Freshness. Check how many were posted in the last week and are still open.
  3. Accuracy. Open a few submitted answers. Look for anything you did not say.
  4. Reach. See which application systems the tool covered. Of the open roles in Plumly's job index, 51.7% use Workday, 12.7% Greenhouse and 8.2% SmartRecruiters. A tool that skips Workday misses about half of them.

That index held 357,810 open roles posted in the last 30 days, at 8,664 companies, as of 18 October 2026. About 120,000 were posted in the last 7 days.

How Plumly fits

Plumly suits people who liked JobCopilot's career-page approach but want to see the results before paying. It finds new roles from company job boards and career sites. It ranks them against your resume, level and preferred places.

Nothing is sent until you choose. In "hands off", Plumly applies to strong matches up to your daily limit (default 10, at most 25). In "in control", you review each job and press Apply.

Answers come from your profile, answers you confirmed, or you. Cover letters use only facts from your profile and resume. A letter that fails the sentence check waits for your review. Plumly keeps every answer and a picture of each submitted form. On Workday, it can create the job-site account with your own email.

Limits: no LinkedIn Easy Apply, some employer systems are not supported yet, and some questions need you.

Pricing: Plus is $19 a month for 1,000 applications. Unlimited is $99 a month. You pay only for applications that are submitted, and you can cancel any time.

Your first 25 applications are free, with no credit card required.
